Tour Overview
By spending the night there with Snow Leopard Trek, you will get a chance to know many things about the village and the villagers and their lives. Snow leopards are native to the mountains of Central and South Asia. If you join our trek, then you will get the guide, hotel accommodation and transport fee included in this trek itself. Snow leopards are a remnant of the feline family and being a part of the feline family, they remain hidden behind the shadows during the day and at night they look like a ghost. That is why snow leopards are also called "Ghost of the Himalayas" in Ladakh. Like other states of India, UT Ladakh has chosen snow leopard as its state animal. That is, due to snow leopards living very high up, most of the time when winter is at its peak, they come down to the plains and then they are visible to us. As soon as you reach Ladakh, you may need to rest so that you and your body can be ready to face the changing weather and heights.
